Pretty Tassel Bag In Turquoise With Tiny Teddy

Sometimes children like crochet bags which are a little different and this pretty tassel bag fits the bill.

Crocheted in turquoise mix yarn, this little bag certainly appeals.

But I have to admit that most important to many children is the sweet little white teddy bear sitting in the front pocket (or in this instance, inside the bag 😀).

This little bag is lined, so that no treasured items should fall out.
And the crochet shoulder strap is just the right size to carry on a child’s shoulder or for an older child to carry in their hands as a handbag.

Bag Measurements:

Length (not counting tassels or shoulder strap): 15.25 cms (6 inches).
Width (laid and measured flat): 15.25 cms (6 inches).
Tassels length (approximately): 5cms (2 inches).
Shoulder Strap: 46 cms (18 inches).

Teddy Bear:

Height (from top of head to bottom of feet): 8cms (3.25 inches).
Jointed arms and legs.
Colour: White plush.

Please Note: Although this is a well-made little bear, because of small parts, it is not recommended to leave a child under 36 months alone to play with the teddy bear.

Useful and Cute Tote Style Shoppers with a Teddy in the pocket.

Many children like to go shopping with their own little bag and these little cotton shoppers really fit the bill.

And these little bags double up nicely as a roomy and useful lunch bag, or just to carry around all those important items they may need to play with 🙂.

You can’t always tell from pictures what the size of a bag is.
These are a good ‘medium’ size when it comes to children’s bags. but measurements are of course most helpful:

As with all individually handmade items, measurements for these cotton shopping bags may differ very slightly. But the measurements below give a very accurate idea of size:

Height of Bag: 22.5 cms (9 inches).
Width of bag: 27.5 cms (10.75 inches).
Handles (2 – front and back of bag): 23 cms (9 inches) each.

Pockets (2 – front and back of bag). These are long, slim pockets for pens, pencils and a tiny teddy 🙂:

Length of each pocket: 15 cms (6 inches).
Width of each pocket: 6.5 cms (2.5 inches).

I recently posted about my New Teddy Bags in Pretty Shades Of Pink.

All of these small bags are cute and they each have a white fluffy teddy in the large front pocket.

The crochet Bag is handmade by me, in bright pink and white acrylic yarn.
It is a small shoulder bag with lots of room inside, plus a front pocket for the fluffy teddy (or for other precious items when you want to take the teddy bear out to give it a cuddle 🙂 ).

The Bag measures:

Length – 6.5 inches (16.5cms)(not counting shoulder strap).
Width – 6 inches (15 cms).
Large front pocket – 5 inches (12.5 cms) on each side allows plenty of room for the teddy bear!

New Little Bags With Tiny Teddy Bears Ideal for Christmas Presents

I’ve been busy making some more small crochet bags with tiny teddies in the front pocket.

They will be available at Christmas markets, but, for those unable to get to markets in Portsmouth, I have put 2 of these little bags on Ebay.

These are popular little bags because they are useful as well as cute and children from 3 plus to 10 plus love them, particularly because they are made in the very popular colours of lilac and cream or dark pink sparkle and cream.

New Teddy Bags in Pretty Shades Of Pink

These pretty bags with teddies inside are made in baby pink, bright pink and dark pink sparkle.

I have been making more of my popular teddy bags ready for Christmas markets.

One of my most popular bags has always been the small shoulder bag with a large front pocket and a 12cm fluffy teddy inside.

This year, as well as dark pink sparkle and cream (which does look very Christmasy 🙂 ), and the popular all year round baby pink and cream design, I have added bright pink and white design to the mix.
And I think they look great!

The teddy bears are lovely, soft and fluffy small bears, with jointed arms and legs.
They fit snugly in the large front pocket or can come out to be played with and cuddled. they also have a tiny chain attached so that they can be fitted to another bag or purse.

Please note: These small bears are soft and cuddly, but are not recommended for under 3’s to be left alone with because of the small chain attachment.

The small bags measure approximately 16cms by 16cms, not counting the shoulder strap (which is designed to fit a child between 4 and 10 years, or as a handdle if they prefer).

There will be more of these little bags with fluffy teddy bears to come soon. There are 2 (dark pink sparkle) in our Ebay shop and I will soon be putting some on Ebay.
