Help finding your favourite Teddy in a Bag items.

It’s been a bit of a job, but I’ve finally got our Online Sales Pages sorted out 🙂.

This means that, even though I post about individual bags, baskets, cradles and gift bags, and these posts mount up…you can now access them from a particular page.

Because there are so many different teddy bags, in all shapes and sizes, I have divided the sales pages according to category.

I must stress that the prices quoted are only for Online Sales direct from Teddy in a Bag.

My next venture will be updating the Teddy in a Bag Prices page.
Most of the prices there refer to prices charged at Markets and Fairs (which are less, because they do not need postage and packing added).

So look out for an update of our prices page next.

Also to stress: there will be no price increases at this time – just more clarity of prices and updates which link to to more recent posts made.

Cotton Shopping Bags for Children

Useful and Cute Tote Style Shoppers with a Teddy in the pocket.

Many children like to go shopping with their own little bag and these little cotton shoppers really fit the bill.

And these little bags double up nicely as a roomy and useful lunch bag, or just to carry around all those important items they may need to play with 🙂.

Teddy in a Bag has Children’s Cotton Shoppers in two designs – Elephant Print with stars or Teddy Print with small daisies.

Both styles are made in double-sided 100 percent cotton fabric, with interface between the two fabrics to help the bag keep its shape.

And of course, both styles come with a dear little 8cm teddy bear in the front pocket.

This children’s cotton shopping bag has a lovely teddy bear print on the outside and a pretty pink and white daisy print on the inside.

You can’t always tell from pictures what the size of a bag is.
These are a good ‘medium’ size when it comes to children’s bags. but measurements are of course most helpful:

Bag measurements:

As with all individually handmade items, measurements for these cotton shopping bags may differ very slightly. But the measurements below give a very accurate idea of size:

Height of Bag: 22.5 cms (9 inches).
Width of bag: 27.5 cms (10.75 inches).
Handles (2 – front and back of bag): 23 cms (9 inches) each.

Pockets (2 – front and back of bag). These are long, slim pockets for pens, pencils and a tiny teddy 🙂:

Length of each pocket: 15 cms (6 inches).
Width of each pocket: 6.5 cms (2.5 inches).

More Than Teddies This September!

I’ve been busy over the summer at Teddy in a Bag with summer markets and school fayres.
But now September is here, it is time to re-stock and to think about Christmas gifts (yes I know it’s a bit early but… 🙂 ).

There will be new Teddy Bags added here over the next couple of months, but in the meantime I’m stocking our Etsy Store (Elephant Sun Dog Etsy Store) with all sorts of different items as well as Teddy Bags (and patterns for teddy/toy bags too).

There are already quite a few Teddy bags in the store, including the popular little teddies in hanging cradle swings, teddies in gift sacks, teddies in crochet and cotton shoulder bags, teddies in moses baskets, and more.
And that is just a few of them.

But I’ve also been working hard making Christmas gifts for adults too.

I’ve added some of our store items in the side panel and I thought I would show you a few of them in this post.

There are quite a few shoulder bags. All individual designs and colours and all fully lined.
Plus cotton string market bags to carry in your pocket and use instead of plastic shopping bags.

There is a small range of baby blankets and cot blankets in pretty colours and designs, and also a lovely ‘bright sunshine’ snuggle blanket which children love.

As fun home decor for children and adults, we have some pretty wall hangings; some with dear little chubby owls and others with hearts or stars.

Then there is a great range of coaster sets and table sets (doilies with matching coasters).
These have so many different uses – from holding a warm coffee mug, or making an elegant party drinks setting, to making dressing table sets or just to have around the home as pretty decor.

I have also been busy making crochet patterns, mainly to put teddies in at the moment, but no doubt I’ll be making some new patterns soon.

Childs Teddy Print Cotton Shopper With Teddy

Everyone loves teddies and what could be better than a shopping bag in teddy print with a teddy in the front pocket!

This pretty cotton shopper is ideal for a child to carry lots of toys inside, or if they go to school, it will carry their boooks, or be a roomy lunch bag.

The bag is sewn with double-cotton fabric. On the outside is a cute teddy print and on the inside is a pretty daisy print to match. The daisy print is carried forward into the trimming, handles and long pocket both sides (which is roomy enough for several pencils or coloured pens or more!).

And of course a really nice bonus is the small teddy sitting in the front pocket.
You can see the teddy outside the bag as well. It is a little plush teddy with jointed arms and legs so that it can sit as well as stand.

Bag measures approximately 8.75 inches (22.5 cms) in height (not counting handles) and is 10.75 inches (27.5 cms) wide.
The two handles measure 8 inches (20 cms) [3.5 inches actual carrying depth] each one.

The tiny teddy is 3 inches (7.5 cms) tall.

Although the teddy has a CE mark, I would not recommend leaving the teddy in the bag when giving to children under 3 years old to play with unsupervised, owing to small parts.

This roomy bag is for teddy lovers and it is an ideal present for both girls and boys.

Childs Elephant Print Cotton Shopper With Teddy

Lovely cotton shopper/tote for a child, with a tiny teddy in the front pocket:

I have already posted about one child’s cotton shopper bag with the floral print cotton shopper.
But I think you will like this addition just as much if not more: It’s a lovely double-sided shopper made with pretty elephant print cotton, coupled with stars. And all in a nice, bright red – just right for Christmas (and the rest of the year too 🙂 ).

And of course I mustn’t forget to add that there will be a tiny teddy in the front pocket of each shopper.

This little bag is made in tote/shopper style. It is very roomy inside and has deep little pockmets front and back to carry pens, pencils….or a tiny teddy 🙂

Small, jointed teddy is 3 inches (7.5 cms) tall.

This little shopper/tote will make a lovely gift for a child who wants to help with the shopping or to take their special items to school or just to carry toys and play.
