Sneak Peak at Teddy in a Bag Market Displays

Just one example of the lovely items you can see at the Teddy in a Bag tables at fairs and markets.

If you have yet to have the pleasure of meeting Teddy in a Bag at a table top sale or craft fair, here are a couple of pictures taken at the table top sale I attended this Saturday.

(Background of the pictures has been amended by the way – it was a very busy sale and it would not have been fair to include customers in the pictures when they hadn’t given their permission).

Not all the items we sell can be seen in the displays shown here, but I always aim to have the following on display:

And now you’ve seen what our indoor displays look like (together with our outdoor displays of course), you will know how best to look out for us over the coming months 🙂

In any case, you can look out for the Teddy in a Bag distinctive Logo, which, as you can see from the picture above, is always at the top of our side display.

See Teddy in a Bag at St Margarets Hall This Saturday

Teddy in a Bag is pleased to announce that we will be at the St Margarets Table Top Sale this Saturday, 28th September, 2019.

The venue is St Margarets Church Hall, Highland Road, Southsea, PO4 9DD.

This is a great sale, with Free Entry to see lots of different tables and enjoy some refreshments. Just the thing for an enjoyable Saturday afternoon.

And the sale is in aid of helping the local community.

It’s always a pleasure to attend events which help good causes, so I’m making sure I will have some new stock on display, alongside all the favourites.

You can see from the picture above some of the lines I will be showing:

Teeny tiny baskets with tiny teddies and bunnies inside;
Teddies in swinging cradles; moses baskets, teddy cradles, small children’s baskets, backpacks, and shoulder bags, and pretty purses – all with a teddy inside.
And those brand new Decorative Baskets with a happy Teddy snuggled up inside which I featured in my previous post.
Then there are elephant ‘snuggle blankets’, and ‘sunshine’ snuggles.
There are some items for adults and teenagers too – the large crochet shopper on the right of the picture is just one example of this range.
And lots more besides from our original range.

So, I think you’ll agree that Teddy in a Bag will have a great range there 🙂

Little Crochet Pouches Make Ideal Gifts

Each of these pretty little crochet pouches is one of a kind.

Another brand new set for Teddy in a Bag are these dear little crochet pouches.

They are made from crochet ‘granny squares’ and each one is different in some way.

As you can see from the pictures, from the front they may look alike, but turn them over and you may find a flower, a mandala pattern, a peacock’s tail, a spiral, a moon, or many other little patterns.

Suitable for adults and children over 3 years, these little pouches are ideal to store make up, keepsakes, small toys… or of course a tiny teddy 🙂

As they are individuals, sizes vary a little, but the average size of these little pouches is 10cms (4 inches) wide and 9cms (3.5 inches) in height.

They all have a button closure, but open they can also be fixed to a hook (in the bathroom, etc) to hold and display little items.

At the moment, these little pouches are for sale only at markets and fayres, but may make an appearance in our Etsy shop later in the year.

Prices for markets and fayres is:
Pouch only – £3 each.
Pouch with tiny teddy inside – £3.50 each.

I would guess that these little crochet pouches would make ideal stocking fillers for Christmas too 🙂

See Us at The Rowans Hospice Summer Fete

This coming Saturday, 3rd August 2019, Teddy in a Bag is very pleased to announce that we will be at The Rowans Hospice Summer Fete.

The Fete will be held at Castle Field, Southsea, from 11am to 4pm.
And it is guaranteed to make a great day out for all the family (and your family dogs too, as there is a fun dog show!).

Here are some of the details of the Rowans Hospice Summer fete:

With free entry, live entertainment and traditional fete games,
come along and enjoy a nice glass of Pimm’s
whilst helping to raise funds for your local hospice.

The day will consist of:

– Live Entertainment
– Fun Dog Show
– Children’s games
– Summer Raffle
– Hot food and refreshments
– Pimm’s
– Cake stall
– Stalls to suit all ages

So as you can see, it really is worth a visit.

We will be part of the Little Gifts of Southsea Tent, with loads of Teddy Bags (and a few bunnies 🙂 ) and Little Gifts of Southsea will have a huge array of Jewellery and gifts for all ages, including neck cords, necklaces, rings, mood rings, lots of different earrings, bangles, bracelets, wrist cords and anklets, key rings, wall hangings, superhero badges, and more!
